This year, we were the hosts for the annual RCPAAA/RCFAAA Joint "Picnic" which has been going on for many years. The 2026 Picnic was held in the RPD's Multi Purpose Room on Thursday, September 10th. We use the word "picnic" with a wink of the eye since September was still HOT, so in the interest of comfort, it was decided to be inside. BUT we still cooked the food outside.

Jill Burt was in charge of the festivities and she was assisted by the always eager to help, Alicia Marshall. Larry Chrisman, our Treasurer, in the background making sure all the nickles and dimes were well spent. 

In addition to the RCPAAA, RCFAAA, and RPD members dining on the great food, our own RPD Cadets (formerly called Explorers) also were invited. After all, what teen can resist hamburgers and hotdogs.
